Free cybersecurity tools built for New Zealand businesses, by X2 Consulting.
xteam is a suite of free email security and diagnostic tools aimed at helping New Zealand businesses understand and improve their email infrastructure. No account required, no data stored — just fast, accurate results.
The platform was built out of a real need: many NZ small and medium businesses lack the internal expertise to audit their own email security posture. Misconfigured SPF, missing DMARC policies, and weak SMTP configurations are among the most common reasons legitimate email lands in spam — or worse, allows an attacker to spoof the domain entirely.
xteam is built and maintained by X2 Consulting, a New Zealand-based technology company. We specialise in cybersecurity, infrastructure, and building practical tools that solve real problems for NZ businesses.
Our background is in enterprise security — working with platforms like Trend Micro, managing email gateways, and dealing with the day-to-day realities of keeping organisations safe. xteam is our way of making those hard-earned skills freely available to anyone who needs them.
